Mexico enacts rules against ‘miracle cure’ ads (Source: AP)

This interesting news appears in the “SIMPLY HEALTH” section of this site. I wish internet group administrators and website webmasters had some policy regarding posting if completely misleading, erroneous, baseless health claims. I am not sure if freedom of speech is boundless and social and personal consequences can be ignored (refer to a number of Facebook, web-based bulling and intimidation resulting in suicide of the victim). When someone post an absurd trashy health and medical claims and remedies,  such as eating yogurt in an specific time of the day has such and such health benefit (emphasis is on the time of the day),  seem not only an insult to intelligent people but outright misreading and potentially dangers. Why people are so indifferent toward any trash and nonsense that is put in front of them?

  1. At one time or another people also believed that earth is flat and moon is green! Let us all hope, pray, think positive, NAZR, and drink green tea so that the “miracle cure” can occur and our cancer and depression go away!
    Cheers!
