Iran to hold International Congress on Clinical Hypnosis

Iran is slated to hold the International Congress on Clinical Hypnosis and Related Sciences hosting specialists in the provincial capital of Mashhad.

The event will host about 800 Iranian and international specialists at Mashhad’s Medical Sciences University, said secretary of the conference, Mehdi Fathi.

Experts from Italy, Australia, Germany, Norway and Switzerland will deliver lectures and about 74 articles will be presented during the event, Fathi noted.

The congress will discuss topics on historical development of hypnosis, medical hypnosis, psychological hypnosis and hypnosis in sports, he added.

The event is organized by Mashhad Medical Sciences University and Iran’s Clinical Hypnosis Scientific Association in cooperation with the Italian Psychotherapy Institute EMDR and Cognitive Therapy Institute TELMAN.

Mashhad’s International Congress on Clinical Hypnosis and Related Sciences will be held from April 26 to 28, 2012.
